Volunteer
Interested in becoming a volunteer?
We are building a team of volunteers who want to make a true difference within our community!
We have opportunities to:
- Help in our Baby Boutique: sorting and displaying items in our Baby Boutique.
- Facilitate parenting education classes with women and couples desiring to be great parents.
- Male Client Advocates: Men who feel lead to meet with male clients to discuss their unplanned pregnancies, help facilitate our weekly dad group, or teach dad parenting classes!
- Spiritual Mentors: meet with clients to pray and facilitate Bible studies.
The first step for a potential volunteer is to swing by our center and pick up an application! We’ll then contact you about next steps and volunteer training.
OUR NEEDS
Prayer
You can support our center through prayer by joining our BPC ALERT Prayer Team. When you join our Prayer Team, you’ll receive BPC ALERT texts.
What is a BPC ALERT text?
When we have a client who is abortion-minded or abortion-determined, we send out a text to our BPC ALERT Prayer Team, and they will immediately begin to pray for this client.
Weekly Meals
Each week, Brenham Pregnancy Center hosts two mom groups and one dad group for our clients. Our groups are held on Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings. During our group classes, our clients learn about pregnancy and parenting and make lasting relationships. We feed them a meal at each group, and we need help with Monday night dinners and Wednesday morning breakfast!

Parenting Classes
As clients complete parenting classes, they earn vouchers to spend in our Baby Boutique on needed supplies, such as new clothing, toiletries, diapers and more.
We need diapers, wipes, bibs, pacifiers, baby shampoo, baby bath soap, baby lotion, new baby clothing (newborn-3T), new cribs, new car seats, etc.
You can drop off new baby, toddler, and mom care items for our BPC Baby Boutique during business hours at 1016 E. Blue Bell Rd, Brenham. If your church or organization would like more information on how you can organize a baby supplies or diaper drive, please reach out to info@brenhampregnancycenter.org or call 979-836-0397.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Brenham Pregnancy Center is to affirm the value of life by providing practical, emotional, and spiritual assistance to anyone experiencing pregnancy or abortion-related issues and by compassionately proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. BPC does not refer, promote, or provide abortions.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
Following are the important truths in which we at Brenham Pregnancy Center believe. All Board of Directors members, employees, and volunteers of BPC must maintain beliefs consistent with the following statement of faith:
One Sovereign God
We believe in one Sovereign God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ, our Lord), and God the Holy Spirit; We believe that God alone created the heavens and the earth out of nothing by His spoken word.
Revelations
We believe that God has revealed Himself and His truth in the created order, in the Scriptures, and supremely in Jesus Christ, and that the Holy Bible is inspired by God, infallible in all that it teaches and the final rule of faith and practice.
Fellowship
We believe God created human beings in His own image to fellowship with and serve Him forever, but that through Adam’s sin, the human race fell into a state of sinfulness that resulted in separation from God and condemnation to eternal death.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, is true God and true man, existing in one person and without sin; that he died on the cross for our sins, was raised bodily from the dead, and offers forgiveness for sins and victory over death unto eternal life to all who believe in Him as Savior and Lord.
Grace
We believe that grace is free. No one can earn a place in God’s family through doing good deeds. Once a person believes, he or she enters God’s family and is eternally secure as a child of God. Every believer has direct access to God through prayer.
The Church
We believe that the church is the body of Christ made up of all believers; that Jesus Christ is its head; that the Holy Spirit unifies and energizes the body to bear witness for Christ in the world.
Hope
We believe in the blessed hope that Jesus Christ will return to this earth personally, visibly and unexpectedly, to gather His church, to raise the dead, to judge the nations, and to bring His Kingdom to fulfillment.
Human Life
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life.
Sanctity of Marriage
We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as a biological male or female at conception, reflecting the image and nature of God. We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage, and that any form of sexual immorality is sinful and offensive to God.
Mercy and Forgiveness
We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
About This Statement
This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of BPC’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our board of directors is BPC’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.
STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLE
Brenham Pregnancy Center is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His church. Therefore, Brenham Pregnancy Center, embodied in its volunteers, is committed to presenting the Gospel of our Lord to women and men with crisis pregnancies both in word and in deed. Commensurate with this purpose, those who labor as pregnancy Center board members, directors, staff, and volunteers are expected to know Christ as their Savior and Lord and to live according to biblical standards.
Information

Brenham Pregnancy Center does not discriminate in providing services because of age, race, color, income, national origin, political beliefs, sex, religious affiliation, disability or other arbitrary circumstances.

Community Needs

Contraceptives
Brenham Pregnancy Center does not recommend, provide, or refer clients for contraceptives.
Adoption
The Center recognizes adoption as one alternative to abortion but is not biased toward adoption when compared to other life-saving alternatives. The Center operates independently of adoption agencies, relating to them in the same manner as to other helpful referral sources. We receive no payment of any kind from these agencies, do not enter into contractual relationships with them, and do not share combined office space. The Center neither initiates nor facilitates independent adoptions.
